The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

When we were in Canada just a couple of weeks ago, one of these blue dragonflies the size of a toy helicopter flew into my hubby and nearly knocked him over. They are huge up north! Here in SoCal they are tiny. :) This is wonderful. v/v
