We had a mild ice storm in our area Friday and this is the way it looked in our forest of trees. Even though ice is dangerous on the roads it is also dangerous to be under a tree with ice on its limbs. The ice does make beautiful images but I prefer the snow!

Ahhhh.. my favorite!!!! LOVE this one! So expressive of the temperature, the frozen branches, yet still not fully barren... I find this capture amazing. Thank you for the painting chance. It is hard to give back the feeling of ice cold in paint. I will refer the painting back to this photo link once done so people will know where the inspiration came from. L/F/ and will g+ it as well.
