While I was out shooting pictures of barns one day I spotted this old disk plow sitting by a tree at the edge of the woods, it appeared as though it had not been used in a long time. Wouldn't you love to hear the stories behind this retired piece of farm equipment. It was all rusty but intact and I believe it could be hooked up to a tractor or mule and brought back to life. Personally I think it would make a great piece of yard art.
The Art of Photography...capturing a piece of life and beauty that will provide us a lifetime of enjoyment. Linda Segerson is a self taught photography artist. She gets enjoyment and satisfaction capturing the beauty that God provides in nature. Whether it's an insect crawling on moss, a fox trotting thru the woods or a doe with her babies, she has her camera ready for spontaneous moments in the wild. She is also very intrigued with landscape photography, always excited to shoot a time-worn barn or a rust-covered relic. Her camera is a daily part of her life....it goes everywhere with her for that special moment to capture another beautiful image. Recently moving to Benton County she is eager to explore and capture all the beauty...

Hi Linda, I really connect with this image. When I was a very young man I worked in my fathers garden. Every year a man would appear and plow the land to prepare it for planting. He had a rig similar to the one shown here. He actually had a mule pulling it. Thanks for the memory.
